FINALLY, I made a very difficult decision. It took me few months before I was ready to stop thinking about it, over and over again.  So, week ago, I bought myself new toy. After I ordered it, it took a while before I got it in my hands. It had a euro-trip from Netherlands to Slovenia first. It's a toy which I'll be holding in my hand for few upcoming years...
The choice I had to make, say goodbye to my favorite toy - Razer DeathAdder. I had that mouse in my hand for more than 4 years, I eventually got so attached to it that I was afraid to replace it with newer mouse.
I simply love that mouse. I got in love with it from day one. I love the top coating which is used for the top coating on mouse. Since I discovered mouse with such top surface I'll never buy mouse without the rubber material on top. Mouse fits perfectly in my hands and it's really cool. It has a fancy glowing logo and lighted scroll wheel. There are also additional button 4 and 5, which I've always used, sometimes I wished there were 2-3 buttons more on it, but it wasn't that much of a problem.

Roccat Kone [+] I am using now (August 2011). Unwrapping was nice, mouse design is simply awesome and it feels incredibly comfortable in my hand. It has a nice authentic rubber on usb plug. Next to that you get Roccat ID card(credit card with no money on it lol). I shouldn't forget about weights, 4 weights each has 5 grams.I don't use them at this moment because mouse is slightly heavier than Razer DeathAdder, so I've decided to not use weights, at least not for now.
I didn't need extra time to get use to it, I just had to set up sensitivity settings and that was it. Roccat Kone[+] feels as comfortable as my old Razer DeathAdder, it feels as if both mouses use same material for the top coating. Although, Roccat Kone[+]'s top coating is slightly smoother. I love the fact that I didn't need time to get use to the mouse, or that mouse feels comfortable in my hand. I was a bit worried after checking out all the reviews, because lots of them were saying that the mouse is to big. I disagree with them.  Reviewers obviously define "big" differently than me
The mouse has 8 buttons and a wonderful feature called EASY-SHIFT[+]™ button duplicator, which gives you option to set up, up to 22 mouse functions! I also got me a new mouse pad, Roccat Taito. This combo fits perfectly, so I am not planning to buy another mouse or mouse pad for a while. I really enjoy playing with Roccat Kone[+], as same as I did with Razer DeathAdder. One of many cool features is also that Roccat Kone[+] uses onboard memory, so if you go to different computer, mouse will use same settings as you had set up on your PC/Laptop.

Why have I bought Roccat Kone[+] even tho Razer DeathAdder is still working?
Because I wanted to have slightly newer mouse, a laser mouse with few more extra buttons. I got more than I wished and that makes me happy. The purchase was definitely worth for what I got, even tho the mouse is a bit pricey.


Mouse pads:

SteelPad QcK heavy !!! Awesome cloth mouse pad, 450 x 400 x 6 mm. I used it with Razer DeathAdder 1800 DPI 3.5G!!! Best mouse & mouse pad combo. By now there is newer version of Razer DeathAdder with 3500 DPI 3.5 G, since last quarter of 2009.

Roccat Taito using it now (Since mid August 2011). There isn't much to say ... My hand feels like in heaven playing with Roccat Kone[+] on Roccat Taito mouse pad. Can't wish for anything else at this moment.


Summary / suggestion:
I'd recommend my following favorites: Razer DeathAdder, steelpad QcK heavy, Roccat Kone[+] and Roccat Taito to anyone! It's just 2 best mouses and mouse-pads from all the others which I have tried out or used for short time.
I've always used mouses which fit nicely in my hand and also made my hand comfortable.
I've also always used sensitivity or other mouse setting which fit my own playing style. Changing sensitivity to much higher or lower than what you are used to, or adding acceleration, I don't recommend. Simply because some other "pro" players use that, won't make you a better player. What will make you a better player is practice with settings you are used to!

IMPORTANT UPDATE - 27. January 2012

Unfortunatelty not all ran as perfect, as in week #1 of using Roccat Kone+
After 3-4 weeks of using mouse daily, for work and playing PC games, mouse-wheel started acting up weird - glitching. Two weeks after that, mouse-wheel became unusable playing PC games or work. Any scrolling which demands mouse-wheel I started doing with mouse click-hold, instead using scroll-wheel.
So, I've decided to return the mouse in store, and after sometime, the store sent me brand new one. Same story repeated, after 6 weeks mouse-wheel is unusable. So, I've decided to give up from Roccat Kone+ and go back to my first love - Razer DeathAdder, the latest version.

Basically you should buy Roccat Kone+ on your own risk. If you decide to do it, you better be a lucky person. I obviously am not, got 2 brand new Roccat Kone+ mouses, and both had exactly same problem. While my partner has no problems at all with it. I don't think he will have any problem soon either, he past 6 weeks stage, far time ago.

Roccat Kone+ is a cool mouse, but obviously there is a design mistake, which didn't give me much choice, but to go after different product.

And about Roccat Taito mouse-pad, it is still as good as on day one. I'm pleased with it.
