Battlefield 3My report about Battlefield 3 co-operative(co-op) mode!
I must admit, I had much more fun in co-op than in single-player. Not only from a reason that you can play it with your friend, but also because of the missions. Those who disliked quick-time events in single-player mode, might get happier as well. The amount of quick time events is noticeably lower, I also found them less annoying in co-op.

The co-op mode brings you six missions, which you can play with one of your friends versus Artificial Intelligence (AI). Mode itself is separate from the single-player game. 2 players have to work together to complete mission objectives. The missions will include ground, air missions, of course you can't avoid tight urban arid warfare either.

My personal favorite missions were, Fire from the sky, where you fly a helicopter or you are gunner. To me and my partner first took few crashes, before we figured the flying out. We definitely had a hilarious time. Second favorite was sniping mission, where you got to synchronize with your team-mate to successfully end it. Mission is called Drop 'em like liquid.

By gaining enough of co-op points, you unlock 7 weapons. Award for that is a Co-Op service star and all 7 weapons you unlock, you can use in multi-player. For last 2 weapons it might take you a while, but first 4 it felt pretty easy to get.

The game-play brings you thermal weapons, teammate reviving in case he/she dies, spotting is also available in co-op, not only in multi-player. The controls are alike in single-player or multi-player, game-play is of course different. You have a team-mate with you, while in single-player you don't have, only AI.

You can pick between different kind of weapons, which you can up froom the floor, or by ammo resupply. Although it might happen that your weapon gets changed back to default one, same goes for fire mode you had set on. I noticed it happen in last map couple of times.

Missions are pretty short, between 10-20 minutes long (depending what approach you take with your team-mate). Co-Op might be replay-able, but after certain amount of playing same maps all the time, you might get enough of it for a while. I played all missions on hard first, but then also on normal, easy difficult I skipped. I wouldn't mind few more co-op maps in future.

Sound and graphics quality is as awesome as in single-player. There was a moment in game when I said to my co-op partner: "Look through the windows, environment looks amazing!".

Guess what happened next! We got attacked, at same time we were looking around. I had much more fun and good laugh in co-operative mode than in single-player, although each storyline had no humor, but playing the game with someone else, always brings moments which you can use for a good laugh.

On hard difficulty we had to be more careful to not die from some AI shoot us down or even knife us -.- Once we tried to rush through the map to see what would happen and AI got one of us. Which means AI ain't dummy, it takes care, crouches, jumps out to surprise. That happens in most cases, you might find here and there some bot just looking at you, but you'll get that in 99% of games.
I died few times due to a bug, don't worry it is nothing fun killing. AI ran through the wall and shot me, it happened on 2 or 3 different maps. I assume they'll fix that in upcoming patches. But it didn't stop the fun, my co-player revived me and we continued with fun...

service starIf I sum up. I personally had more fun in Battlefield 3 co-operative mode. It is very entertaining to play, I only wish it had more maps.
